Bites. I made sure long agp to have my big screen on surge protection, but I certainly should do the rest.
We had a pretty intense lighting storm Friday night, and it knocked out the phones (thus the Internet, too) in our neighborhood and the power went off and on for a few minutes. We just now got the phone lines back. But that’s hardly the worse that happened: 3 of our TVs (sister’s, living room, and parents’ ) were lost. Completely. Now we have to buy three new ones. And homeowner's insurance isn't going to help much, if any. [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]
But mine wasn’t affected because it was hooked up to a surge protector. Thank God it was, because if it weren’t, it would probably be on its way to the dump, too.

If we had a big-screen, and it was destroyed by lightning, I would have definitely broken down and cried.
Over 39 views... come on, people... show compassion. Three family members just died.
